Martin Warner is an experienced HR leader who joined Smart in 2018 to help recruit, develop and retain the best talent. Having helped Smart scale from 80 people to over 700, Martin is now responsible for the company’s next growth phase whilst also ensuring that it retains its key principles and culture. Martin helped Smart get on to the Great Places to Work list in 2020, 2021 and 2022, as well as being part of the team that increased our ability to hire top engineers by expanding our Engineering Team to locations in Poland, Belarus and Croatia. Before coming to Smart, Martin was a consultant for three years, helping to scale companies such as Market Finance and Wise.
