Smart is a private limited company. The board meets formally four times a year, to set Smart’s strategy and oversee its execution, and to make sure good governance is at the heart of what we do.

Audit and risk sub-committee
The audit and risk sub-committee looks at how effective our audit process and internal control framework is. It also makes sure we have an effective risk management process.
The remuneration sub-committee sets the remuneration policy for all executive directors and the company's chairman. It also signs off remuneration and incentive policies for the wider business.
